Dried floral arrangements and aisle lighting were placed throughout the church, all designed by the Bride and her parents.

The Groom made his way back down the old town to welcome his guests that had arrived on the Coach from Denia, and escorted them back in a procession led by a Spanish drummer and flute player.

Guests flew in from all over, even some surprise guests ! – family and friends flew into Spain from Cyprus, Vietnam, England, Madagascar, Australia, France, Belgium, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Romania, Serbia, and Malta among others, to watch the couple say their vows in Altea.

The Spanish flutist and drummer are a local tradition and the highlight of the wedding for many guests, the musicians waited for the Bride (who was almost an hour delayed with traffic) to play outside and let everyone know she had (finally) arrived.
