The Cocktail

Once the Wedding Welcome was wrapped up all guests moved down the long garden to the fountain for Cocktail hour. El Poblets served Kir Royals, Martinis, wine, beers and a selection of twenty canapes. The newlyweds got a chance to enjoy greeting all their guests while listening to the Groom’s personally curated sundowner playlist.

With about eighty of our favourite people in attendance they held citizenships from almost every continent including Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, to England, France, Cyprus, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Finland, Poland, Scotland, Slovakia, Serbia, Russia, and Malaysia and Myanmar, as well as Madagascar, and Lebanon, and even Australia.

On the details table a candle was lit for those family members in heaven and it stated on the reverse – A light for those that lived and loved so that we could be here today, followed by a quotation by Colombian Nobel laureate, Gabriel Garcia Marquez:

The week of the wedding the Bride worked on final decor elements for the venue and her sister Milena and her brother-in-law Martin created signage for the wedding timeline.
