The newlyweds had about half an hour between arriving in the Mustang to getting their couple portraits taken at Casa Santonja before the coach arrived and the Welcome began.

The flags flown at Casa Santonja were from Spain, the local host country, from Colombia, the Bride’s country, and from England, the Groom’s country – a wonderful extra arranged by the Wedding Planner’s Your Dream Wedding in Spain.

The Bride designed the welcome sign and her mother created additional dried florals that matched the wedding theme of peach, dusty pink, and white with hints of gold to decorate the rest of the venue. The Guestbook included photos that spanned almost ten years of the couple’s travel and adventures around the world. The artwork on the woodblock was adapted to match the wedding theme but it represents Mia and was first painted in 2020 by Paintbrush in my Tea, a cute Cypriot artist.

Guests arrived on Coach from Altea and were given a Welcome lemonade and asked to head to the garden altar for group photos.

Casa Santonja was built in the 19th Century and is ranked in the most illustrious buildings of the Alicantine region, with centenary trees and over 20,000 square metres it is consecrated land thanks to its operating chapel on site and a really magical wedding venue.
